Mike Perry is a Richmond premiership player. He played Centre Half Forward in the 1967 Grand Final. Mike was educated at Scotch College and played 2 seasons for the Old Collegians side in the VAFA in 1963 & 64. He won their Best & Fairest in both years and was selected in the VAFA rep side in 1964. He played 2 games for Richmond in 1965 but broke his jaw in round 3 and missed the rest of the year.

He then established himself at Richmond in defence, and as well as his premiership he also earned State Selection in 1967. He was suspended for striking in the last home and away game in 1969, causing him to miss the finals that year. He then quit the VFL due to injury at just 25 years of age, although he continued
to play at lower levels for many years.

Mike remained prominent at Richmond – he served on the Board as Vice President and was a long term President of The Old Players Association.
